Courses are designed as structured small-group programmes to encourage continuity, active participation and steady progress throughout the term.

Unlike large online grind sessions, groups are intentionally kept very small to ensure active participation, regular speaking practice and personalised feedback for every student.

Our Leaving Certificate French grinds are designed to help students prepare for all key parts of the exam, including:

  • oral exam preparation;

  • written production;

  • reading comprehension;

  • listening comprehension;

  • grammar and accuracy;

  • vocabulary development;

  • exam technique and confidence.

Classes are held online in small groups of 2 to 6 students maximum, allowing each student to receive guidance, feedback and regular speaking practice.

The focus is practical, structured and exam-oriented, while also helping students feel more confident using French.

Beyond notes and exam tips

Many students rely on online notes, AI tools and model answers when preparing for the Leaving Certificate.

While these resources can support learning, they do not replace real language practice.

In the Leaving Certificate exam, students are expected to speak, understand, respond and write independently — without AI, without notes and without prepared answers in front of them.

This is not passive learning with cameras off and microphones muted.

Because success in Leaving Certificate French is not only about memorising notes or exam techniques, it is about being able to communicate confidently and independently on exam day.
